Children’s Classes

Sunday School

Children’s Sunday school classes are held during the Sunday sermon time. Before class, children have their own worship times. Classes are taught by adult brothers and sisters, and teachers are rotated each month.

There are two sections of children’s worship:

  1. Upstairs in the baby room
This is for infants up through first graders. Songs are sung in Chinese.
  2. Downstairs in room #5
This is for children in grades 2-6. Songs are sung in English. (If your child only speaks English, they can join this section regardless of age.)

Worship lasts for about 20 minutes and begins right after the breaking of bread gathering in the sanctuary.

Classes last about an hour (11:20-12:20).

  • Infant class
  • Ages 2-5
  • Pre-K & K
  • Grades 1 & 2
  • Grades 3 & 4
  • Grades 5 & 6

Friday Night

During Friday night meetings, children and youth are split into three groups:

  • Ages 2-5
  • Grades K-5
  • Grades 6-12

The two younger classes are traditional teacher-led classes, while the older follows more of an open sharing Bible study format.
