Christian Chen: 2003 predicted something like this COVID19 might happen with much worse results than SARS while sharing on God’s words during 2003 SARS global crisis (10 or 20 years later): much better prediction than Gates because of the Word of God.

There is nothing accidental to our LORD: everthing happens with HIS permission and for HIS purpose as HE IS IN FULL CONTROL.

In the Bible, there are Pestilence || Plague || Leprosy that are closely related to Covid19.

Why COVID19: No accident to GOD

1.Show God is in the throne and in control. In comparison, men is arrogant and weak and cannot handle even a invisible virus. Psa 29:10-11

Men need to humble before God and seek HIM for help and guidance

2. Show God is righteous

Pestilence often used by God to punish sins against God, and to fulfill HIS purpose in due time.

3. Show God is merciful and full of grace (even from Psa 29:11 above)

Hab 3:2,  3:5

Men need to ask God for HIS mercy and grace and receive salvation through Christ Jesus our LORD (Gospel)

4. Reminder from God: The second coming of the LORD Jesus is very near.

Luk 21:36  Watch therefore, praying at every season, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things which are about to come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. 

How to deal with it?

1. What the Bible told us in various cases of pestilences . In Summary: to deal with pestilence/plague, old Testament teaches us below: Prayer, Judgment-dealing with sins severely, (repent &) offering ourselves to God
2. Practical lessons for God’s people in our time. Normal conditions among abnormal world (God’s Word and principles do not change-no new normal for God). Watchman Nee’s Normal Christian Life: normal is overcomer. Not overcomer not normal. Live in Christ and His peace: peace is granted before sufferings. John 16.33, Hab 3:18,  1Th 5:16-18
3. Know the time. Covid19 a warning sign for God’s people to be ready for Christ’s iminent return. Reminder for us to ecape the Great Tribulation – nothing comparable in history. Mat 24:7-8, 13-14
4. Know the act and act accordingly.
