【Ps73:1】A Psalm of Asaph.Truly God is good to Israel,To such as are pure in heart.
【Ps73:2】But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled;My steps had nearly slipped.
【Ps73:3】For I was envious of the boastful,When I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
【Ps73:4】For there are no pangs in their death,But their strength is firm.
【Ps73:5】They are not in trouble as other men,Nor are they plagued like other men.
【Ps73:6】Therefore pride serves as their necklace;Violence covers them like a garment.
【Ps73:7】Their eyes bulge with abundance;They have more than heart could wish.
【Ps73:8】They scoff and speak wickedly concerning oppression;They speak loftily.
【Ps73:9】They set their mouth against the heavens,And their tongue walks through the earth.
【Ps73:10】Therefore his people return here,And waters of a full cup are drained by them.
【Ps73:11】And they say, “How does God know?And is there knowledge in the Most High?”
【Ps73:12】Behold, these are the ungodly,Who are always at ease;They increase in riches.
【Ps73:13】Surely I have cleansed my heart in vain,And washed my hands in innocence.
【Ps73:14】For all day long I have been plagued,And chastened every morning.
【Ps73:15】If I had said, “I will speak thus,”Behold, I would have been untrue to the generation of Your children.
【Ps73:16】When I thought how to understand this,It was too painful for me—
【Ps73:17】Until I went into the sanctuary of God;Then I understood their end.
【Ps73:18】Surely You set them in slippery places;You cast them down to destruction.
【Ps73:19】Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment!They are utterly consumed with terrors.
【Ps73:20】As a dream when one awakes,So, Lord, when You awake,You shall despise their image.
【Ps73:21】Thus my heart was grieved,And I was vexed in my mind.
【Ps73:22】I was so foolish and ignorant;I was like a beast before You.
【Ps73:23】Nevertheless I am continually with You;You hold me by my right hand.
【Ps73:24】You will guide me with Your counsel,And afterward receive me to glory.
【Ps73:25】Whom have I in heaven but You?And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.
【Ps73:26】My flesh and my heart fail;But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
【Ps73:27】For indeed, those who are far from You shall perish;You have destroyed all those who desert You for harlotry.
【Ps73:28】But it is good for me to draw near to God;I have put my trust in the Lord GOD,That I may declare all Your works.
【Hab2:20】“But the Lord is in His holy temple.Let all the earth keep silence before Him.”
【Hab2:2】Then the Lord answered me and said:“Write the visionAnd make it plain on tablets,That he may run who reads it.
【Hab2:3】For the vision is yet for an appointed time;But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.Though it tarries, wait for it;Because it will surely come,It will not tarry.
【Hab2:4】“Behold the proud,His soul is not upright in him;But the just shall live by his faith.
【Hab2:5】“Indeed, because he transgresses by wine,He is a proud man,And he does not stay at home.Because he enlarges his desire as hell,And he is like death, and cannot be satisfied,He gathers to himself all nationsAnd heaps up for himself all peoples.
【Hab2:9】“Woe to him who covets evil gain for his house,That he may set his nest on high,That he may be delivered from the power of disaster!
【Hab2:12】“Woe to him who builds a town with bloodshed,Who establishes a city by iniquity!
【Hab2:19】Woe to him who says to wood, ‘Awake!’To silent stone, ‘Arise! It shall teach!’Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver,Yet in it there is no breath at all.
【Hab3:3】God came from Teman,The Holy One from Mount Paran. SelahHis glory covered the heavens,And the earth was full of His praise.
【Hab3:9】Your bow was made quite ready;Oaths were sworn over Your arrows. SelahYou divided the earth with rivers.
【Hab3:13】You went forth for the salvation of Your people,For salvation with Your Anointed.You struck the head from the house of the wicked,By laying bare from foundation to neck. Selah
【Hab3:17】Though the fig tree may not blossom,Nor fruit be on the vines;Though the labor of the olive may fail,And the fields yield no food;Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,And there be no herd in the stalls—
【Hab3:18】Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,I will joy in the God of my salvation.
【Hab3:19】The Lord God is my strength;He will make my feet like deer’s feet,And He will make me walk on my high hills.To the Chief Musician. With my stringed instruments.
