【Ps48:1】A Song. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praisedIn the city of our God,In His holy mountain.
【Ps48:2】Beautiful in elevation,The joy of the whole earth,Is Mount Zion on the sides of the north,The city of the great King.
【Ps48:3】God is in her palaces;He is known as her refuge.
【Ps48:4】For behold, the kings assembled,They passed by together.
【Ps48:12】Walk about Zion,And go all around her.Count her towers;
【Ps48:13】Mark well her bulwarks;Consider her palaces;That you may tell it to the generation following.
【Ps48:14】For this is God,Our God forever and ever;He will be our guideEven to death.
【Heb12:18】For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest,
【Heb12:19】and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore.
【Heb12:20】(For they could not endure what was commanded: “And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or shot with an arrow.”
【Heb12:21】And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, “I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.”)
【Heb12:22】But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels,
【Heb12:23】to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,
【Heb12:24】to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.
【2Sam5:6】And the king and his men went to Jerusalem against the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, who spoke to David, saying, “You shall not come in here; but the blind and the lame will repel you,” thinking, “David cannot come in here.”
